| PROFESSIONAL/ETHICAL STANDARDS Members shall conduct their business in a professional manner and conduct themselves in compliance with established industry practices. Members shall also conform to applicable laws and regulations of local, state and national organizations, which require professional adherence. Integrity and confidentiality is recognized by each member as one of the foremost standards of professionalism. An agreement or commitment, be it in writing or verbal, shall be binding on our appraisers and thus encourage a healthy and competitive business environment. Each member shall conduct business in an impartial manner without regard for a client’s race, color, sex, religion, marital status, national origin or social class. No rates will be quoted for services that are likely to not be achieved. This would also include promises regarding services that are likely for the appraiser to be unable to perform. Members agree to surrender their license upon filing bankruptcy or being convicted of a felony. Members also agree to always use current NADA Manufactured Housing Appraisal Guide in making appraisals and testifying in court. Finally, the certified appraiser shall make every effort to perform their assigned duties (assignments) in a prompt and responsive manner. Should those efforts come under scrutiny the appraiser shall voluntarily come forth with all appropriate and requested materials in accordance with these professional and ethical standards as presented here. Members who have been deemed
to have violated the above noted standards shall have their certification
revoked by the NMHAS, LLC.
